CHILDCARE PROJECT

Here are the three flyers that i have been working on.
They all include images of children, bright colours and useful information.

NEW PROJECT

Our new project was to create a Childcare flyer that will be distributed in the local community.
The purpose of the flyers is to get  people to sign up for the childcare course online.
 Our audience is;

• people who are ages 16-18
• want to get into childcare
• they have no full time job

NEWS

The website is officially finished and we are now working on a new project.
Later I will post some screen shots of the different pages to show what they contain.

WEBSITE UPDATE

We have constructed our official home and content's page. 

The home page has an animated header to draw in the viewers.

We have kept the brick wall theme and graffiti font going as it appeals to our audience. we've used bright, bold colours as asked to in the brief and created graphical images and icons too make it look more exciting.

I like this advert because its memorable, quick and snappy and gets the message across.

• We could maybe get some LRC learners to move around the room and shout out words such as; C.v building, Key Skills etc..

UPDATE

Today we have been working on the website which was to insert all text and images, hyper link the pages and to keep viewing them in a range of search engines to ensure everything works.

Our next step is to link our social links to out social icons.

We have also been developing our film ideas which involved us talking about camera shots/angles, setting etc.. 

FILM

Me and my team have been coming up with a few ideas for the film.
We have been given the brief for the film which is to capture Deena & Zack talking about the LRC and what they can offer.
we have created a brainstorm and a couple storyboards that showcase's our ideas.
thoughts that came to our heads;

• comic strip film
• homage 
• super heros/charters/icons/ props

we thought this would work quite well as it will appeals to teens and keep them entertained.

UPDATE.

Today we have been checking off all the things that we have done and then
started to complete the outstanding work.
I have been working on putting all text that is going to be on the website
in a sub folder in the appropriate 'Project LRC site' folder. This means hopefully in the next session we will be able to start making the website :)

 Using everything we have created, we have constructed a potential contact page.

I like this page and it has a bit of everything; brick, paint, graffiti.

The layout of the text im not too sure about, I need to work on that, the layout of the image I like, It adds creativity to the page.

Colours and fonts work well, I give this page a thumbs up overall.

Using everything we have created, we have constructed a potential home page.

I like this homepage very much, I think the brick theme works really well, the colours and font fit together nicely and the graphical images/ navigation buttons/ social icons really stand out.

If we was to use this design, we will need to do some work on it to use up all the white space.

This time we've decided to work with a more simple, plain theme to seen how the other components would look.

All the right colours and fonts are used i just dont feel this really stands out and attract the audience very well.

Here you can see that I have added in text, my navigation buttons and changed some of the colours, by me doing this I feel that it looks much better and we could work with this.

This is one of the background that was created.

I particularly like this one because of the different colours and textured paint splatters, however we thought that we could improve this by producing a variety of boards to help us choose a final background.

UPDATE

For the last couple of weeks we have been working on the flyers/posters and the website.
Whilst taking into consideration what our client and project managers have said to us we've tried to produce something fresh, successful and youthful, we have done this by using range of bright, bold attracting colours and a brick wall. We've used a brick wall because we thought that most youths find it relatable as its how the majority of art is expressed.

PITCH

Today we pitched to out client and project manager and it was a success! They liked our plans, designs and also gave us individual feedback on how to make what we've been working on better which was very useful. Looking forward to getting started!!! :)

UPDATE

As we have finished our research we are now putting everything together (all of the the different  research we each have done individually) as a powerpoint pitch alongside with my team members.
We will be pitching to out project manager and client on monday.

STORYBOARDS

Here are two examples storyboards that I have been working on.

I created this one because its very edgy.The colours are dark but yet very bright and the animated logo fits with this webpage. The brick wall and paint spatters work well together. Its has a youth feeling to it.

This storyboard is much different compared to the last one.

The white space in the back ground makes the page look less chaotic but the paint splatters add a bit of excitement. 

images have been and icons to the navigation areas as it makes the webpage look more interesting.

MOVING ON

Now that I have created wire frames for each page, I am now able to create story boards using the wire frames as a base/template :)

RESEARCHING

The above shows that I have research a website and poster/flyer, the point of this was to see what styles are popular, what colours work successfully well together and see if any of the examples have elements that I could incorporate in my designs.

For my second project we have to create a website along with flyers and poster for the LRC.
my role was to create the website layout and do some research on posters/flyers so it helped me out when it came to planning and making.
